Grade AI Ltd. ("Grade AI", "we") provides a WhatsApp-based tutoring service for Kenyan learners. This policy explains what information we collect from parents and guardians, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist or use Grade AI we collect the parent or guardian's name, the phone number you want us to reach you on via WhatsApp, and the child's grade level. We also keep the messages exchanged with the tutor so we can produce weekly progress summaries.

Why we collect it

We use this information to contact you about early access, to deliver tutoring that matches your child's grade level and curriculum, to send you weekly progress reports, and to handle billing and support. We do not use it for anything else.

The parent is the account holder

Grade AI accounts belong to the parent or guardian, not the child. By submitting the waitlist form you confirm that you are the child's parent or guardian, that you consent on the child's behalf to the processing described here, and that you agree to be contacted on WhatsApp.

We do not sell your data

We never sell, rent or trade parent or learner information. We share data only with the service providers required to run Grade AI (for example messaging and payment providers), and only to the extent needed to deliver the service.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing info@mygradeai.com. We will confirm and remove your details, including your child's grade level and chat history, within 30 days.

Regulatory registration

Grade AI Ltd. is registered with Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner and handles personal data in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019.
